okay so it is on the topic of Reece Mastin and his music. I have been a fan of Reece since his audition and guess what when he first appeared on my screen i didn’t really think he was hot! Shock I know! (it has changed now though) I noticed his voice and talent first! Don’t get me wrong and don’t think I am an utter bitch but this is just something that I have noticed recently. Reece’s debut single ‘Good night’ is a fun, catchy and feel good song which i love but it seems to me that some people really just like Reece for this song. The recording of the song is very pop (but live it is much more rock which i like). I guess what I am trying to say is that I really hope that Sony Music don’t try to mold Reece to be this pop chart topping music genre and that I hate that people only really like Reece for this one song. I don’t think the song is very him and hopefully isn’t the type of music he will produce in the future. He looks up to Steven Tyler and other rock legends who produce music that is respected by all different types of people all over the world. I want to Reece to have all the success in the world and really become respected by people others than just his lil rockers which are mainly teenage girls. His songs ‘Just My Luck’ and ‘Timeless’ are amazing songs and I hope that they get the respect that they deserve. Reece is constantly being labelled as gay, talent-less and nothing but another X Factor flake out which I hate. His talent is beyond amazing and I just wish that people would look past his smash hit debut single and listen to the lyrics in his new music and the notes he pulls in his covers and the way he makes those covers his own and the way he connects to each and every one of the songs he sings. When I went to one of his recent concerts in Melbourne I was so excited to hear him sing ‘Paradise city’ and ‘Always’ live because those were the songs I felt he really stood out in. When the start of ‘Good night’ came on the whole room erupted louder than any other song he played, at that moment I was proud but also wish people had given him that support when he sung ‘Just My Luck’ and all the other songs he played. 

I just wish that people would look past his looks and ‘Good Night’ and realise that his voice and musical talent extends far beyond any other X factor winner. 

Also Reece needs some male support! He needs some guy lil rockers!!!

Okay its over now. 

I agree with this 99% (1% left being not thinking he was hot cause I thought he was from the start.) :D
